Μ첩ΜεΣύ-PS Schools Closure Extended through Tuesday, Aug. 31 Due to Hurricane Ida
(NEW ORLEANS β€� August 29, 2021) β€� Today, Μ첩ΜεΣύ Public Schools (Μ첩ΜεΣύ-PS) announced that the closure of schools and its Central Office will be extended through Tuesday, Aug. 31 due to Hurricane Ida.
All Μ첩ΜεΣύ-PS COVID-19 testing services and mobile vaccinations will also be closed during that time.
The District will continue to monitor Ida and connect with local and state leaders regarding storm recovery needs. District officials also will continue to assess any recovery needs and communicate plans to reopen schools once assessments have been completed.
Μ첩ΜεΣύ-PS reminds everyone to remain vigilant and to monitor the City's announcements for updates regarding Ida. Μ첩ΜεΣύ-PS will post all storm related announcements on its social media as well.
