Ì첩ÌåÓý Public Schools Announces Hurricane Ida Relief for Ì첩ÌåÓý-PS Families

Family resource drive-up giveaway this Saturday morning.

WHAT:

Cleaning supplies, household goods, school supplies, and social emotional support resources â€ these are the relief items Ì첩ÌåÓý Public Schools (Ì첩ÌåÓý-PS) will be providing to families who have been impacted by Hurricane Ida.

More than 600 care packages will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis, while supplies last. The items were donated by generous organizations such as the AASA - The School Superintendents Association, Wal-Mart, the City of New Orleans, and individuals across the country.

In addition, Louisiana Reads will be giving away more than 350 book bundles to families as a way to introduce them to their new Center for Literacy & Learning. This center is a free direct service available to our families.

As a perfect complement to Louisiana Reads' book bundles, the NCAA will be relaying information on its upcoming Read to the Final Four campaign by providing giveaways to families and challenging Ì첩ÌåÓý-PS students to read the most books possible leading up to the Final Four.
